JACKSON BROWNE - RUNNING ON EMPTY JACKSON BROWNE - RUNNING ON EMPTY New remastering of Jackson Browne’s classic album, Running On Empty, featuring 10 live performances recorded in 1977 between August 17 and September 18 by Browne and his band: guitarist Danny Kortchmar; David Lindley on fiddle and lap steel guitar; keyboardist Craig Doerge; bassist Leland Sklar; drummer Russ Kunkel; and background vocalists Doug Haywood and Rosemary Butler. Together, they recorded these songs in natural settings, such as a Holiday Inn hotel room, a backstage rehearsal space, on a tour bus, and on stage.

PETE TOWNSHEND - EMPTY GLASS PETE TOWNSHEND - EMPTY GLASS Limited Edition Heavyweight 180-Gram Clear Vinyl. Remastered At Abbey Road With Half-Speed Mastering Process. Considered by Pete Townshend to be his first 'real' solo album 'Empty Glass' was also to become his most commercially successful. Whereas 'Who Came First' was a devotional album and 'Rough Mix' a collaboration, Townshend had no such restrictions on this 1980 release. Coming after Keith Moon's death the album sees Townshend at his most emotional and rawest as he publicly acknowledges his own addictions and exorcises his demons. The album was written while Townshend was also trying to write new material for The Who and complaints were raised in some circles that he was keeping the best material for his solo work. The album certainly contains songs that would have worked for the band (a version of the title track was actually recorded by The Who) but the personal investment in the material by the composer shines through. The album spawned three singles including the top ten US smash 'Let My Love Open The Door' as well as 'Empty Glass' and 'A Little Is Enough'. Universal. 2017.

Con su traslado a Londres empezó su carrera profesional bajo el nombre de John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. En ese tiempo, se unió a Eric Clapton, para publicar su exitoso y legendario primer álbum, y comenzó a ser reverenciado por sus trabajos innovadores con Blue Mitchell, Red Holloway, Larry Taylor, o por su participación en directos con John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker, etc. Este maestro del blues y figura clave en la música contemporánea ha publicado ya más de 50 álbumes, muchos de los cuales han supuesto nuevos patrones dentro del rock blues y han contado con estupendas críticas y aceptación por parte del público, como "Behind The Iron Curtain", "Chicago Line" o "Wake Up Call", "Blues For the Lost Days" and "Padlock On The Blues".
