This is an amber glass ink bottle in a squashed onion shape and the top, if there ever was one, is no longer with the bottle. This has a B on the bottom and I think it could be made by the Chas. Boldt company. They used a capital "B" with serifs at the top and bottom...just what this bottle sports. It is 2/5" in diameter at the bottom. This inkwell is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage. Great for the beginning ink well collector as well as an excellent specimen for a glass collector.
