A través de sucesivas mejoras permaneció en servicio hasta el final del conficto, desarrollándose finalmente una versión cazacarros, armada con dos cañones de 37 mm. Desde que se estrenara en combate en la invasión de Granada ha estado presente allá donde hayan mandado tropas norteamericana y ha tenido cierto éxito de exportación. Curiosamente, el USMC ha prescindido de esta máquina, prefiriendo una versión modernizada del UH-1. La maqueta. En mi modesta opinión, la mejor que existe de este aparato en esta escala, en cuanto a que es la que mejor lo representa. Excelente detalle en los interiores y exteriores, incluyendo los supresores de señal IR de los gases de salida. Tiene una pega para los modas que corren hoy en día: las líneas de paneles son en fino relieve. La carga externa comprende dos lanzacohetes y ocho misiles AGM-114 Hellfire. Calcas para esquemas del US Army y del ejército turco.
