Conserva su caja y el plástico protector del golpeador e incluso dentro de la propia guitarra sigue el saquito de silicio para la humedad. La he probado y funciona todo perfectamente. La Marshall Tucker, fue la banda que cerró el triángulo de oro dentro del rock sureño junto a las otras dos más representativas del género, The Allman Brothers Band y Lynyrd Skynyrd, teniendo cada una de estas formaciones caminos y orientaciones diferentes, pero tomando como base el sonido y sentimiento sureño como raíz de su música. El distintivo esencial de la Marshall y el sello único e inconfundible que marcó su obra fue el Country-Rock y la cultura "cowboy ", adoptando cierta actitud derivada del "salvaje oeste" en su música, llevada a cabo con gran acierto por los hermanos Toy y Tommy Caldwell. Nunca renunciaron a otros estilos como el rythm & blues, rock, blues o incluso el jazz, dada las aportaciones de unos magníficos, extraordinarios e incansables músicos que eran pura energía, sobre todo en sus memorables directos. Realizaban actuaciones increíbles, llegando incluso a ser delirantes para un público súper entregado. "Where We All Belong" doble álbum y tercero en su discografía, fue publicado en 1975 y se compone de una parte grabada en estudio y otra en directo, además de suponer un punto crucial en su carrera. Comienzan con el clásico "This Ol'Cowboy", un bello tema dedicado al héroe de Toy Caldwell, el actor y mito eterno del Western, John Wayne. Como dato anecdótico, posteriormente Caldwell le compraría el caballo que utilizó en 1969 en la oscarizada "True Grit" (Valor de ley). De claro estilo country-rock, con el uso de instrumentos propios del género como el banjo, Steel- guitar, la flauta o el violín, nos encontramos temas como "Low Down Ways", o una auténtica balada romántica "In My Own Way". El resto de temas de esta parte fueron grabados en los estudios Capricorn, todos ellos soberbios y podemos destacar "Where A Country Boy Legends", que contó con la ayuda de un guitarrista excepcional llamado Elvin Bishop, que en años anteriores participó con los Allman Brothers y en esta ocasión a la slide-guitar. En la parte de estudio, la Marshall estuvo formada por Toy Caldwell a las guitarras, su hermano Tommy Caldwell (bajo), George McCorkle (guitarra y banjo), Jerry Eubanks (flauta y saxo), Doug Gray (voz) y Paul Riddle a la batería. Estos eran los integrantes originales de la banda, a la que se incorporaron un buen número de músicos de reputado prestigio como fue el caso del legendario Charlie Daniels al violín, Paul Hornsby al piano, Johnny Vernazza a la slide y entre otros, al anteriormente mencionado Elvin Bishop. La segunda parte del álbum fue capturada el 11 de julio de 1974 en el Uhlein Hall Arts Center de Milwaukee, con la banda original y la inestimable colaboración de Charlie Daniels. Abren con la incendiaria y explosiva "Ramblin'", un tema rápido con un Toy imparable a la guitarra eléctrica, equiparándose a leyendas como Duane Allman. En "24 Hours At A Time", se puede disfrutar de uno de los temas más recordados y de una formación sobresaliente, ejecutando una colosal jam que se convertiría en su himno oficial. A continuación desgranando el clásico de B.B King "Everyday (I Have The Blues)", una Marshall pletórica nos obsequia con otro espléndido tema. Y para finalizar "Take The Higway", otro de sus clásicos. Unidos bajo un mismo sentimiento, "The Marshall Tucker Band" originarios de Spartanburg en Carolina del Sur nos dejan uno de sus álbumes más célebres, siendo uno de los mejores exponentes dentro del rock-sureño y narrándonos sus epopeyas por el "viejo oeste" como si fuésemos viajando en una antigua diligencia... Esta banda maravillosa formada en 1971 en Spartanburg, Carolina del Sur, por los hermanos Caldwell, Toy a la guitarra y Tommy al bajo, el cantante Doug Gray, el guitarrista George McCorkle, el batería Paul Riddle, así como Jerry Eubanks a las flautas, combinaba a la perfección el Rock, con el country, con el blues y con el Jazz. La banda adquirió un notable reconocimiento en los años 70 (época de apogeo del Rock Sureño), pero la muerte de Tommy Caldwell en accidente de coche en 1980, y el abandono de Toy Caldwell en 1982 para iniciar una carrera en solitario llevó a que la banda se disolviera en 1983. A finales de los 80 la banda se reformó, liderada por Gray y Eubanks, y con diversas formaciones y con muchos cambios, la banda sigue hoy en día, aunque lejos del esplendor de los años 70.- Yo reconozco que le tengo un cariño especial a esta disco, que está compuesto en parte por material de estudio, y en parte por grabaciones en directo. Destacan, además de la mencionada "How can i slow down", temas como "This Ol' Cowboy", "Low down ways", o la brutal "Ramblin'". "The Simpsons Sing the Blues" es el álbum de 1990 surgido como una rama de Los Simpson. El álbum contiene originariamente la música grabada que no aparecía en la serie salvo por la primera estrofa de la pista "Moaning Lisa Blues", presentada en el episodio Moaning Lisa el 11 de febrero de 1990. EBERHARD SCHOENER (STING / ANDY SUMMERS) - VIDEO MAGIC - VINILO ORIGINAL 1978 HARVEST ALEMANIA EBERHARD SCHOENER (STING / ANDY SUMMERS) - VIDEO MAGIC - VINILO ORIGINAL 1978 HARVEST ALEMANIA A raíz de su colaboración con Jon Lord, más conocido por ser el teclista de los Deep Purple, Andy Summers entró en contacto con Eberhard – quien se encargaba por aquel entonces de orquestar algunos temas del álbum de Lord “Sarabande” (1976) – quien le ofreció la oportunidad de grabar en Munich varias pistas de guitarra para el proyecto que preparaba, “The book” (1977). Schoener quedó tan contento con el resultado que contrató a Andy para “Trance-formation” (1977), en donde tuvo absoluta libertad para grabar en los huecos que le dejaba la banda a la que acababa de vincularse, The Police.El numeroso y bien remunerado trabajo que ofrece Schoener pronto alcanza a los tres miembros de la banda – el conductor alemán no necesitaba un bajista pero cambió de opinión cuando escuchó cantar a Sting, decidiendo incluir también su voz en sus recargados espectáculos -, quienes aprovechan la estancia en Munich – en noviembre del 77 – para grabar un álbum, “Flashback” (1978) y dar alguna comparecencia en vivo. Now this has got to be the most unusual thing on the face of the planet: to hear The Police do prog rock. On Schoener's previous album, Flashback, he had all three members, Sting, Andy Summers play on that album. I have to say I hadn't heard that one. With Video Magic, Stewart Copeland sat this one out, with Evert Fraterman in his place. I have to let you know that Schoener had Andy Summers play on many of his albums even way before The Police ever existed. The album opens with " Octagon ", which is an instrumental piece, dominated by Andy Summers guitar playing. Here, I get reminded so much more of Pink Floyd than anything The Police would ever do. Sting here is sticking to bass duty. " Speech Behind Speech " is a real trip: totally drenched with Mellotron, and Sting here is doing the singing. You know right away that Sting's voice is perfect for the usual music you expect the Police to do, but in a prog setting, it sounds really peculiar. " Natural High ", again has Sting doing vocals, it's about as close to The Police sound you're gonna get here, but it's still packed with Mellotron, and is actually an excellent song. All this Mellotron work came from Schoener himself. " Code Word Elvis " is largely an orchestral piece, no surprise, given that Eberhard Schoener had spent his time conducting orchestras. " Night Bound City " is a purely electronic piece that you know none of the dudes from The Police participated in, while " San Francisco Waitress " brings to mind Sting's post-Police solo albums like Dream of the Blue Turtles, especially because of the jazzy feel and sax (although sax here is by Olaf Kübler, who used a tenor sax, unlike Branford Marsalis who tended to soprano sax). The last piece, "Koan" is an instrumental piece that tends to be rather minimalist. Now this isn't going to be the greatest thing you'll ever hear. Police fans might find it a bit unsettling to see their heroes doing prog rock, and neither is it the most cohesive album out there (Schoener couldn't decide whether to do prog rock, electronic, or orchestral music), but if you're a proghead and you wonder what would happen if the Police were a prog rock band, give this album a try (you can also see that The Police would never be anywhere as popular as they were if they were a prog rock band, beside they came during the punk/new wave era and capitalized on that instead, which was to their benefit). But get this album if you can find it for cheap, which is what I did. Don't overspend. File this under: curiosity.

Fundado por Johnny McElhone en 1986, debutó en marzo de 1988 en la Universidad de Dundee. Sharleen escribía sus propias canciones y Gerry hacía las veces de representante y se encargó de introducir al grupo entre las productoras discográficas.Mientras preparaban su primera maqueta, contactaron con Ally McErlaine, para que se hiciera cargo de la guitarra, y con Stuart Keer para la batería.El grupo tomó el nombre definitivo de Texas debido a la influencia que tuvo en ellos la banda sonora de la película 'Paris,Texas', de 1985.En 1988 debutaron y a partir de entonces no pararon de dar conciertos. The album peaked at no. 32 in the UK and spent 4 weeks on the charts. The album saw the release of four singles, the lead single released from Mothers Heaven was entitled " Why Believe in You " which only managed to reach #66 on the UK Singles Charts in September 1991. Follow on single, the alternative rock track, " In My Heart " was released in October 1991 but only managed to reach #74 in the United Kingdom. However, "In My Heart" became Texas's last song to date to chart in the United States, peaking at #14 on the Billboard Hot Rock Tracks chart. The song also reached #44 in France. The release of a third single was based entirely on the success of the band in countries such as France, Spain and other European countries, as the band's singles were doing particularly poorly in their native United Kingdom. The third single, " Alone with You ", saw Texas return to the UK Singles Charts Top 40 (for the first time since their debut single three years earlier), peaking at #32. The single also continued the success of the band in France, reaching #28. The fourth and final single, a remix of the title track "Mothers Heaven" was released in 1992, but failed to chart in any countries. Ironically, after the disappointing performance of singles from the album, the band then released a new cover version of the Al Green classic "Tired of Being Alone", which returned them to the UK Top 20. The track was not available on any album until the band's Greatest Hits album released in 2000. Mothers Heaven is the band's lowest charting album in the UK where it remains uncertified, however, it has been certified Gold in both France and Switzerland. En 1969, grabó "New Routes", un álbum grabado en los famosos estudios Muscle Shoals.Un disco curioso y raro de encontrar, en el se incluía una buenísima versión de " Mr. Bojangles ", de Jerry Jeff Walker. Grabado entre el 10 de septiembre y el 2 de octubre de 1969, fue una de las primeras grabaciones de aquellos míticos estudios. Y claro lo mejor y lo que mas me entusiasma del asunto es que en el disco Lulu contó con Duane Allman en las guitarras. Mi entusiasmo por encontrarme este disco es evidente, ya que adquiero todo lo que toque de cerca o de lejos a los Allman. El disco contaba con temas como la canción " Oh Me Oh My (I'm a Fool For You Baby) " que obtuvo cierto éxito. Una buena versión de " Feelin' Alright " de Dave Mason. "Dirty Old Man" de Delaney Bramlett, etc... Por lo que se puede apreciar a simple vista; muy buen gusto tenia esta majisima señorita. El disco también contó con Barry Edward Beckett en los teclados, un hombre que que trabajó como músico de sesión con los artistas mas grandes. James Luther "Jim" Dickinson al piano y las guitarras, un hombre que no necesita presentación,simplemente recordar que sus hijos, Luther y Cody han seguido sus pasos con éxito,tanto con North Mississippi All Stars, como como Hill Country Revue y The Black Crowes. Y que el piano en " Wild Horses" de los Stones es el! El gran Cornell Dupree tambien se ocupo de las guitarras, junto a Charlie Figueroa y Eddie Hinton este ultimo guitarra de Aretha Franklin, Solomon Burke, The Staple Singers y Elvis Presley entre muchos. Al bajo David Hood, otro con un curriculum que echa de espalda, y su hijo, Patterson Hood, es uno de Drive-By Truckers. Michael Utley con el organo, un hombre muy apegado a Rita Coolidge y Kris Kristofferson. Como se puede ver Lulu tuvo a la creme de la creme en su disco, y como productores tampoco se quedo corta: Jerry Wexler, Arif Mardin y Tom Dowd. Nada mas y nada menos! Como ven nuestra Lulu,se lo monto divinamente en este disco y un año más tarde, lanzo un álbum similar, "Melody Fair". Ambos se registraron en el sello Atco y son piezas muy buscadas Lulu siempre siguió en el negocio del espectáculo,consiguiendo éxitos nada desdeñables, aunque su estilo siempre ha derivado hacia un pop muy comercial, siempre quedaran estos discos que grabo en los Muscle Shoals. THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, ELECTRIC LADYLAND.DOBLE LP RE 2010, PRECINTADO, EDICION DE LUJO. THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, ELECTRIC LADYLAND.DOBLE LP RE 2010, PRECINTADO, EDICION DE LUJO. Electric Ladyland  es el tercer  álbum  de  The Jimi Hendrix Experience, el cual fue lanzado en  1968, siendo el último de la banda. Es un álbum doble considerado uno de sus trabajos más destacables. Muestra elementos que anticipan el  rock progresivo  (Aunque no pertenece a este género pero puede ser considerado una influencia) en canciones como "1983... (A Merman I Should Turn to Be)", y la versión de la canción de  Bob Dylan  " All Along The Watchtower " (que suele ser considerada por muchos como la mejor versión de la misma, incluso por Dylan [cita requerida]). La grabación del álbum fue muy problemática. Luego de una complicada gira por  Escandinavia  e  Inglaterra, Hendrix decidió regresar a su país natal,  Estados Unidos  (se había mudado a Inglaterra antes de ser popular). Frustrado por las limitaciones de las grabaciones comerciales, decidió crear un moderno estudio en  Nueva York, en el que no tuviera limitaciones para expandir su visión musical. La construcción del mismo, llamado Electric Lady, tuvo diversos problemas y no fue terminado hasta mediados de  1970. Como resultado, grabó gran parte de  Electric Ladyland en The Record Plant. Los disciplinados hábitos de trabajo de Hendrix se volvieron erráticos, y la combinación de sesiones interminables y de estudios llenos de aduladores finalmente causaron que el productor  Chas Chandler  renunciara en mayo de  1968. Chandler más tarde se quejó de que Hendrix insistía en grabar muchas tomas de cada canción (al parecer, de "Gypsy Eyes" se hizo 43 tomas, y a pesar de eso Hendrix aún no estaba satisfecho con el resultado). El perfeccionismo de Hendrix llevó al guitarrista Dave Mason a que grabara 20 tomas de la guitarra acústica de "All Along The Watchtower". A pesar de las dificultades, muchas canciones de este álbum muestran la expansión de la visión de Hendrix (se dice que el sonido de este álbum inspiró parcialmente al de  Bitches Brew  de  Miles Davis [cita requerida]), y en el colaboró con músicos como Mason, Chris Wood y Steve Winwood de  Traffic; el batería Buddy Miles, el bajista de  Jefferson Airplane  Jack Casady y el exorganista de Dylan  Al Kooper.

Sus canciones fusionan ska, pop, soul, reggae y punk rock, y sus letras tratan temas de amor, unidad y temas socio-políticos. The Beat, que consta de Dave Wakeling (voz, guitarra), Ranking Roger (voz), Andy Cox (guitarra), David Steele (bajo), Everett Morton (batería), y Saxa (saxofón), publicado tres álbumes de estudio a principios de los 1980: Es que no puede parar, (1980), Wha'ppen? This album introduced the "Burundi beat" sound to popular music. Kings of the Wild Frontier was released on 3 November 1980 by record label CBS in the UK and Epic records internationally. It reached No. 1 in the UK Album Chart, and spawned three hit singles: "Kings of the Wild Frontier", which was released in July and reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart; "Dog Eat Dog", which reached No. 4; and 'Antmusic', released in December and reaching No. 2, as well as No. 1 in Australia for five weeks. The album was the UK number 1 selling album in 1981 (and the 48th best seller in 1980) and won Best British Album at the 1982 Brit Awards. Fue en febrero del 2000 cuando decidieron entrar a grabar en el estudio "ECO" en Oviedo y con Juan Martínez como responsable de la grabación y mezcla en 16 pistas analógicas, comenzaron a grabar 12 temas que posteriormente masterizó también Juan Martínez. El sello "Difusión Libertaria La Idea" se mostró interesado en la grabación, dándoles la oportunidad de poder editar dicho trabajo, con la colaboración de otros dos sellos más, llamados "Sentimientos Kontra El Poder" y "Sur Libertario" que también quisieron contribuir en la edición y distribución del trabajo. Dicho trabajo salió bajo el titulo "Estado De Necesidad" en marzo del año 2001

JETHRO TULL,CREST OF A KNAVE, CHRISALIS 1987,1ª EDIC ORIG, MADE IN USA JETHRO TULL,CREST OF A KNAVE, CHRISALIS 1987,1ª EDIC ORIG, MADE IN USA EX, EX Crest of a Knave  es un  álbum  lanzado por la banda inglesa de rock progresivo  Jethro Tull  en  1987. Sin  Peter-John Vettese  (Ian Anderson  se hizo cargo de los sintetizadores), y con la guitarra eléctrica de  Martin Barre  como centro de atención, el álbum fue un gran éxito, tanto de crítica como comercialmente, y llegó a ganar el premio  Grammy  de  1989  por la  mejor interpretación de hard rock o metal, derrotando, contra todo pronóstico, a los favoritos,  Metallica  y su álbum ...And Justice for All. El premio fue particularmente controvertido, ya que muchos no consideran que Jethro Tull sea una banda de  hard rock, y mucho menos de heavy metal. El hecho adicional de que ésta fuera la primera ocasión en que se entregaba un  Grammy  de heavy metal, fue visto como un insulto para los fanáticos del género. Tal vez como consecuencia de esto, desde entonces se entregaron Grammys para bandas de  heavy metal  y  hard rock  por separado. Por recomendación de su mánager, ninguno de los integrantes del grupo había asistido a la ceremonia, pues parecía que no tenían posibilidades de ganar. Afortunadamente para ellos, ya que apenas fueron anunciados como ganadores, parte de la audiencia abucheó el resultado. La banda, como consecuencia de las críticas, respondió lanzando un anuncio en una revista musical británica en el que se decía: «The flute is a heavy, metal instrument!» (traducido: «¡La flauta es un instrumento de metal pesado!»). El estilo de  Crest of a Knave  ha sido comparado con el de  Dire Straits, en parte porque Anderson había perdido gran parte de su registro vocal tras una complicada operación de garganta.
