Aunque tuvo sus orígenes en el movimiento punk, con el correr del tiempo la banda fue orientándose más hacia el New Wave, incluyendo en su repertorio géneros como el post-punk y new romantic. Kings of the Wild Frontier es un disco fresco y divertido, que, en ocasiones, sorprende con creativos riffs (que se deben a la mano maestra del ex de Siouxsie and the Banshees, Marco Pirroni) como el amenazante Ants Invasion, que verdaderamente hace honor a su hombre y presagia una auténtica invasión devastadora contra la humanidad de una raza guerra como los “Antpeople”. ¿No os recuerda el uso de la guitarra al tema principal de James Bond en ocasiones? Kings of the Wild Frontier is the second album by English new wave band Adam and the Ants. It was released in November 1980 by record label CBS. This album introduced the "Burundi beat" sound to popular music. Kings of the Wild Frontier was released on 3 November 1980 by record label CBS in the UK and Epic records internationally. It reached No. 1 in the UK Album Chart, and spawned three hit singles: "Kings of the Wild Frontier", which was released in July and reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart; "Dog Eat Dog", which reached No. 4; and 'Antmusic', released in December and reaching No. 2, as well as No. 1 in Australia for five weeks. The album was the UK number 1 selling album in 1981 (and the 48th best seller in 1980) and won Best British Album at the 1982 Brit Awards. The US version of the album dropped "Making History" in favour of two tracks penned by Ant prior to teaming up with Marco Pirroni, "(You're So) Physical" and "Press Darlings". THE HUMAN LEAGUE - FASCINATION - VINILO ORIGINAL 1983 EDICION USA AM RECORDS THE HUMAN LEAGUE - FASCINATION - VINILO ORIGINAL 1983 EDICION USA AM RECORDS A finales de 1982  THE HUMAN LEAGUE  lanza una canción nueva en la forma del single “ Mirror Man ” que es una perfecta combinación de techno-pop y sonido Motown que se quedo cerca de igualar el éxito de “don’t you want me”, la canción esta dedicada a la figura de Adant Ant y el hecho de terminar creyéndote tu propio personaje, la cara b “you remind me of gold”, es un homenaje de “the robots” de Kraftwerk. Meses después ya en 1983 sale otro nuevo single, la irresistiblemente pegadiza “(Keep Feeling) Fascination ” que fue otro grandísimo éxito y que desgraciadamente ha envejecido fatal. Todo parecía preparado para la edición del nuevo álbum con dos grandes éxitos de adelanto pero el grupo no estaba convencido con el material que tenían entre manos y se produce una crisis en el grupo que termina con la ruptura de relaciones con el productor Martin Rushent y el comienzo desde cero del nuevo álbum con los productores Hugh Padgham y Chris Thomas, mientras en USA se edita el ep “ Fascination! ” con temas procedentes de los singles “ Mirror man ” y “ Keep feeling (Fascination), aparte de un tema nuevo “ i love you to much ” en una versión producida por Rushent muy superior y diferente a la que terminaría en el siguiente álbum del grupo “hysteria”. The EP was issued by Virgin Records in North America (though made available in Europe as an import) as a stop-gap release in between the albums Dare (1981) and Hysteria (1984). The original vinyl release of Fascination! contained six tracks, including two versions of their single "(Keep Feeling) Fascination" as well as " Mirror Man ", both of which were hits in the UK and the U.S. Also included is " Hard Times ", which was originally the B-side of their 1981 hit "Love Action" and also appears on the band's 1982 remix album Love and Dancing. The featured version of "I Love You Too Much" is an earlier version of the song that would later be released on the band's Hysteria album in 1984. The album was released as a digital download in 2008 with a bonus track, a dub version of "I Love You Too Much". A CD version was released as part of the "deluxe edition" release of Dare in 2012,[2] minus Hard Times, but with other extra tracks. In November 2015 a Limited Edition Single-CD is released (only in Japan), same Tracklist as the Dare "deluxe edition".
