Acrylic Glass Print Frankfurt Germany Part of the Exploring Germany series by photographer Harley Alsbrook. While exploring downtown Frankfurt, near the train station, I saw quite the site. The homeless huddled together for warmth in the dirty street, while just down the road was a multi-million dollar public art exhibit paid for by the city. As if walking over the lines of a sad painting, within mere seconds you went from the slums to the district of art and wealth. A sad site indeed. Altogether, I strove to avoid this area. The contrast was rather unsettling. This was taken not far from the main train station, near the outdoor exhibit. The receding lines of the street and buildings immediately caught my attention and I knew that this photo, "Streets of Frankfurt" was going to be one of my best cityscapes.
