The aglets are available in four different diameters as follows: * 6.4 mm in diameter (reducing to approx. 3.2 mm when shrunk) * 4.8 mm in diameter (reducing to approx. 2.4 mm when shrunk) * 3.2 mm in diameter (reducing to approx. 1.6 mm when shrunk) * 2.4 mm in diameter (reducing to approx. 1.2 mm when shrunk) If you have not previously used this type of aglet, we can offer the following advice by way of guidance: • The 2.4 mm aglets are typically suitable for very narrow laces • The 3.2 mm aglets are typically suitable for the majority of other laces including round, oval and some flat laces • The 4.8 mm aglets are typically suitable for most ribbons and thicker, medium duty laces • The 6.4 mm aglets are typically suitable for thick ribbons and heavy duty laces One aglet is typically 20 mm long although unless you advise us to the contrary, your order will be dispatched in a single length based on the ordered quantity multiplied by 20 mm. This will enable you to cut the aglet to the exact size you require as laces differ greatly in actual aglet length. It will also minimise wastage.
