El Halve Maan es un moto velero fabricado en Holanda en 1914, probablemente una de las embarcaciones más antiguas que aún navegan. Fue concebido para laborar como barco de rescate, y pasadas las guerras se reformó para convertirse en un velero de recreo añadiéndole mástiles para velas y un lastre de 14 toneladas. A final del siglo pasado el barco fue decomisado y hundido por la guardia civil y posteriormente adquirido en subasta por un artista que lo restauró y usó como taller-vivenda mientras navegaba por las Islas Baleares. Después de cinco años lo vendió a un armador que lo abandonó en el puerto del Garraf durante varios años. The Halve Maan is a sailing boat manufactured in Holland in 1914, probably one of the older boats that still sail. It was conceived to work as a rescue ship, and after the wars it was reformed to become a recreational sailboat by adding sailing masts and a 14-ton ballast. At the end of the last century, the ship was confiscated and sunk by the Spanish Civil Guard and later acquired at auction by an artist who restored it and used it as a workshop while sailing around the Balearic Islands. After five years he sold it to a shipowner who abandoned it in the port of Garraf for several years. Recently it has been used as a platform for artistic events, and the hull has been completely refurbished to save it, as it is a historical ship.
