Tras la edición de este disco, el dúo se trasladó a Nueva York, donde se les añadieron David Yarritu y Eden (Fiona Russell-Powell) al grupo, sólo para los efectos visuales, sin tocar ningún instrumento ni cantar. A principios de 1985 se publicó el brillante y pegadizo single Be near me, que subió hasta el puesto 26 de las listas británicas. Debido al éxito del single, How to be a...millionaire! consiguió entrar en el Top 30 tanto en Reino Unido como en Estados Unidos. Four singles were released from this album, "(How to Be A) Millionaire " (UK: 49, US: 20), " Be Near Me " (UK singles chart: 26, US Billboard Hot 100: 9), " Vanity Kills " (UK: 74, US: 91), and the fourth was " Ocean Blue ", (UK: 54). The album peaked on the UK Albums Chart at 28 and on the Billboard 200 at 30. On the cover the album's title is in the foreground lit up like a spotlight against a tri-tone background on which various quotes of the album's lyrics can be seen. There is also a drop shadow behind the title. No dialogue at the start of the song " Vanity Kills ". Eden (see band line up in next section) does the harmony vocal on the song " Ocean Blue ". Guitars completely absent from Side Two/Tracks 6–10. No cursing from Eden in the song "A to Z". Four seconds of silence between "A to Z" and "(How to Be a) Millionaire". Eden performs the breakdown vocal and plays the instrumental solo in the song "(How to Be a) Millionaire".

A varied set of jazz and gospel infused funky soul, Two Sisters From Bagdad was composed and orchestrated by two precocious young talents, E.J. Garrison and Rhodia McAdoo. It's an album full of surprises, and is notorious for the heavy funk workout Though's Were The Days. Not only have Jazzman Records unearthed and faithfully reissued this true obscurity as the 26th part of their ongoing Holy Grail series, but through interviews with Garrison and McAdoo themselves, they have uncovered the beguiling back story to the music, the play and the life and times of it's original creator, the late LaVice Hendricks. As always the detail is revealed for the first time in Jazzman Records' extensive new sleeve notes.

In 1952, Guthrie wrote and recorded a song at home titled ''I Don't Like The Way This World's A-Treatin' Me.'' The track appears on vinyl for the first time on a limited edition 10'' of the same name for Record Store Day 2019. Also found on this special release is a second version of the demo with new accompaniment from Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, who, along with Billy Bragg and Wilco, released a series of acclaimed albums featuring their interpretations of unearthed Guthrie lyrics. Mermaid Avenue, the first in the series, was nominated for a Grammy in 2000. If those two tracks weren't enough, I Don't Like The Way This World's Treatin' Me includes two versions of ''Beech Haven Ain't My Home'' (aka ''Old Man Trump''), whose lyrics were discovered within the Woody Guthrie Archives and chronicle the time the Guthrie family lived under landlord Fred Trump. As two drafts of the lyrics exist, the Riot-Folk Musician's Collective's Ryan Harvey combined them, with music composed by Johnny Irion (husband and musical partner of Woody's granddaughter Sarah Lee Guthrie). This release contains a version by Harvey featuring Ani DiFranco and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine/Auidoslave), and another from Irion's band U.S. Elevator. Available exclusively for Record Store Day as a 10'' EP, I Don't Like The Way This World's A-Treatin' Me is not only an historic, but a musical document, released in conjunction and with full cooperation from the Woody Guthrie Archives. Producers, composers, singers and multi-instrumentalists Peter Howell and John Ferdinando are two English musicians who started their partnership in the mid-1960s. From 1968, with the release of their soundtrack for the play Alice Through The Looking Glass, until the release of a project called Friends in 1974, they put together a total of five albums, Ithaca (1973) and Agincourt (1970) being the two most expensive and collectable of all of them. Incredibly rare and highly sought-after for years, the records contained a magical world brimming with folk music, soft psychedelia, psych-pop and progressive overtones; their music is absolutely exquisite and truly unique. It is predominantly folk, but very far from its traditional format. The longer one listens to their legacy, the longer one is going to find peculiar elements of classical gestures plus many flourishes of soft psychedelia, idiosyncratic progressive overtones, acid-folk and a taste that one is always entering the enchanting toy world of psych-pop. It does make total sense that the word ''cult'' is frequently applied to describe their creations. On Ithaca, Agincourt And Other Psych-Folk Fairy Tales (a 21 track double LP accompanied by a 19 track CD of totally distinct material), one also has the chance to read their own words. Both of them were interviewed for the liner notes, where they reveal their secret influences and their simple but unexpected ways of creating and composing. LED ZEPPELIN - CODA LED ZEPPELIN - CODA Presence, In Through The Out Door, and Coda have been remastered for 2015 by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page and are accompanied by companion audio comprised of previously unreleased music related to the original release.The appropriately titled Coda was Led Zeppelin s final album of studio recordings. Released in 1982, it was comprised of eight unreleased tracks recorded between 1970 and 1978. It peaked at #6 on the album charts and has been certified platinum in the U.S. The reissue campaign ends with a double-barrel blast of Led. Coda will be the only Led Zeppelin deluxe edition to include two companion discs, featuring 15 tracks recorded between 1968 and 1974. The oldest song in the collection is also perhaps the most interesting. The frenetic blues jam Sugar Mama was recorded in 1968 at Olympic Studios during sessions for the band s eponymous debut. The song was completed but never officially released until now. Baby Come On Home from the same session is also included in the set. This Frank Zappa-oriented release is part of the series, although this particular compilation is also geared to promoting both the artists 'signed' to Zappa and the two labels, Straight and Bizarre Records, which Zappa co-founded with Herb Cohen. These two labels were manufactured and distributed by Reprise Records. This Frank Zappa-oriented 'Zapped' release is the 6th issue in the series, a compilation geared to promoting both the artists 'signed' to Zappa and the two labels, Straight and Bizarre Records, which Zappa co-founded with Herb Cohen. (These two labels were manufactured and distributed for Reprise Records by Warner Bros. Records from mid 1969 [Previously 7Arts]). The black & white cover of this PRO 368 release has a portrait of Zappa and the title is "Zapped" without an accent over the 'e' (as on a subsequent/similar PRO 368 release with a 'collage' cover & Reprise label). This vinyl's label is pale blue with a dark blue 'Bizarre' text. Issues did occasionally appear later in retail outlets, particularly in Australia.

This album introduced the "Burundi beat" sound to popular music. Kings of the Wild Frontier was released on 3 November 1980 by record label CBS in the UK and Epic records internationally. It reached No. 1 in the UK Album Chart, and spawned three hit singles: "Kings of the Wild Frontier", which was released in July and reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart; "Dog Eat Dog", which reached No. 4; and 'Antmusic', released in December and reaching No. 2, as well as No. 1 in Australia for five weeks. Joining  Adderley  for the six tracks here are fellow  Davis  alumni  Philly Joe Jones  on drums and  Bill Evans  on piano. These three are augmented by the wonderful and often-underrated  Blue Mitchell  on trumpet and the equally illustrious  Sam Jones  on bass. Everyone is in top form on a varied set that takes in two  Adderley  originals (the fine ballad "Straight Life" and "A Little Taste"), a classic  Gigi Gryce  number ("Minority"), and  Miles ' oft-covered "Nardis." Filling out the program, we have a rare  Sam Jones -penned cut, "Blue Funk," and a lone standard in the  Rogers & Hammerstein  chestnut from Oklahoma, "People Will Say We're in Love." One of the highlights from  Adderley 's hard bop prime. "Things Are Getting Better" This title provides ample evidence why alto  Cannonball Adderley  is considered one of the masters of his craft. Here he joins forces with  Modern Jazz Quartet  co-founder  Milt Jackson  on vibes to create a variety of sonic atmospheres. They are backed by the all-star ensemble of  Wynton Kelly  on piano,  Percy Heath  on bass, and the one and only  Art Blakey  on drums. The moody "Blues Oriental" opens the set with  Jackson  immediately diving in with his trademark fluid runs and shimmering intonation.  Adderley  counters with a light and lively line that weaves between the rhythm section. The optimistic "Things Are Getting Better" is a good-natured romp as the co-leads trade and cajole each other into some downright rollicking exchanges. This directly contrasts with the sultry "Serves Me Right," which allows the combo members to demonstrate their collective musical malleability. The interaction between  Adderley  and  Jackson  sparkles as they entwine their respective playing with an uncanny singularity of spirit. The cover of  Dizzy Gillespie 's "Groovin' High" contains another spirited performance with some thoroughly engaging improvisation, especially during  Adderley 's voracious solos. "Sidewalks of New York" bops freely as  Jackson  unleashes some sublime licks against a hearty and equally boisterous sax.  Adderley 's "Sounds for Sid" demonstrates his uncanny ability to swing with a strong R&B vibe. With drop-dead timing and profound instrumental chops, this cut is undoubtedly one of the best from  Adderley 's earliest canon. The album concludes with a jumping reading of  Cole Porter 's "Just One of Those Things." While  Wynton Kelly  has been uniformly solid, his interjections stand out here as he bridges and undergirds the two as they banter with flair and aplomb. This set can be recommended without hesitation to all manner of jazz enthusiast, as it quite literally offers something for every taste.
