312 GRAM VINTAGE NAVAJO INLAY TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER EN ESPAÑA

This is a tremendous Native American intricately inlaid silver squash blossom necklace. This wonderful necklace contains 10 outstanding inlaid large silver squashes that each consist of a remarkable rectangular shaped inlaid sections. Each squash measures around 2-1/2" X 1/2". Flaring out from the inlaid sections on the squashes are wonderful flared sun, teepee and plant stamped patterns. Located at the bottom of the very large, heavy and sturdy necklace is a marvelous inlaid silver naja pendant. The naja pendant measures around 3-5/8" X 2-1/4" including the bail. The inlay on this necklace includes beautiful Sleeping Beauty turquoise, coral and lapis. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are some of the largest handmade round silver beads with old natural patina. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 312 grams.
